Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not do with services we run for you — particularly messaging and delivery.
Why this is strict
When we resell messaging or delivery capacity, we do it on our account with the underlying provider. If one client sends spam over the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta does not suspend that client — it suspends us, and every other client we serve goes dark with them.
So this policy is not boilerplate. It is the thing that stops one person's bad week becoming everyone's.
You must not
- Send messages to people who did not opt in, or keep sending after someone opts out.
- Use messaging channels for marketing where the platform's own rules permit only transactional messages.
- Send anything unlawful, fraudulent, obscene, defamatory, or designed to deceive the recipient about who sent it.
- Impersonate another business or person, including in your sender name or display name.
- Upload or transmit malware, or use our systems to attack anyone else's.
- Attempt to access another client's data, or probe for a way to.
- Resell capacity we provide to you, to a third party, without written agreement.
- Use the services for anything requiring a licence or registration you do not hold.
Consent, specifically
For any messaging we send on your behalf, you are responsible for having a record of the recipient's consent, and for honouring opt-outs immediately. If a platform or a regulator asks us to produce evidence of consent, we will ask you, and we will need a real answer.
What we will do
If we see a breach, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix it — unless the breach is causing active harm or puts our provider accounts at immediate risk, in which case we will suspend the affected service first and call you straight after.
Repeated or deliberate breaches end the engagement. Any penalty or fee a provider charges us because of your usage is passed on to you.
Reporting abuse
If you have received a message you believe was sent through us without your consent, tell us at support@relicsoft.in with the sender details and, if you can, a screenshot. We will investigate and reply.
